In the strange world of American cannabis law, the RL counterpart of Franklin OG has a special place. Charitably described as "brick weed," it is legal industrial hemp with less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC. Delta-9 is the cannabinoid that gets people baked. So Franklin OG is basically the sort of hemp that gets cooked into the CBD and derivatives stuff they sell in convenience stores. However, enterprising growers discovered that Franklin OG has an extremely high THCA concentration. THCA is a so-called "related cannabinoid" like CBD, but it's not Delta-9, so its "federally legal." And as it sits in the bud, THCA won't bake anybody. The twist is that when heated (like burnt at the end of a blunt) THCA converts into ... you guessed it, Delta-9 THC.
Nobody is exactly sure how Franklin OG got its name. Perhaps it comes from the "Founding Father" tradition: Jefferson and Washington were known hemp growers, so why not Ben Franklin, too. Another possitibility is that it originated near Franklin, Tennessee, just outside Nashville. Tennessee is ground zero for "Cult of Franklin" hemp growing, so that might work too.

This pack includes the 4.19.925 CannabiSL Update Transmogrifier (CSLUT) HUD. Again, this is a minor update, but bringing your plants to this version will make them function 100%. HUDs will be distributed periodically on the inworld Growers & Breeders Group.
