Gloria Delicioso, the mother of ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ & the artistic heart of our products, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. 

She loved the ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Family, delighted in decorating sales areas for new releases & believed in magic. She came up with the ideas for most of our Limited Editions & pushed Djeaux to make the plants "just so."

Gleaux was a fairy princess. Second Life was a brighter place because of her. She will be sorely missed.

4.19.920 Update Released - Patch for a Problem We Didn't Create!

 After over a week of extensive testing & revision, the ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Team has released what we hope will be the last patch to address the ongoing Second Life Server "two second bug." The new version is 4.19.920 & it is compatible with earlier 4.19 releases.

To get the update, simply wear your old ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ HUD. Our update server will deliver a new HUD to you automagically. The new HUD is numbered 4.20210930 & includes the plant version 4.19.920 update ovule.

Updating is the same as always: Click the HUD Menu button & select "CSLUT On." The center button will turn red. Update your plants individually from the plant's Advanced Menu, or use the HUD Advanced Menu for bulk updating. As before, we recommend updating multi-seed females between each harvest, but our testing has indicated that this is merely precautionary.

Again, the ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Team apologizes for the inconvenience & headaches. We're hopeful this latest "patch" will address harvesting issues due to the SL Server bug (and we're hopeful that Linden Labs doesn't screw it up even more in the future)!

While we scaled back on the auction area & pOT pLOTs, we are providing ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Growers & Breeders Group members with the option for smaller "Elite" sales plots at 8 Miles High & deeply discounted Ad Boards to direct others to your home grows, sales areas & cannabis-related stores & clubs!

Lucky Charm for St Dabby's Day!

 Begorra! The leprechauns at ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ  have a "charmed" LE for St. Fatty's Day -- BLARNEY STONED! This medium potency, medium growth rate outdoor plant features a striking Irish Knot FX. And, the females are "charmed" with the Luck of the Highrish: when a first generation female BLARNEY STONED is treated with ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Plant Auxin & bred to a NORTHERN LIGHTS male, you'll get IRISH KNOT BUDZ offspring! 

IRISH KNOT BUDZ is also medium potency, medium growth rate & outdoor, but it carries no FX. Instead, the Irish Knot FX graphic is displayed on a dank green bud!

Built on the new 4.19.916 genetics system, "charmed" LEs offer growers more PHUN breeding opportunities. Let's take a look at some of them...

1. 

   IRISH KNOT BUDZ

   As mentioned already, you can breed your Gen 1 BLARNEY STONED females to a NORTHERN LIGHTS male to make IRISH KNOT BUDZ offspring. Just remember to treat the females with ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Plant Auxin. This is the basic "charm" system for this LE. (As you don't have to use brand new, purebred NORTHERN LIGHTS males... If it's a hybrid but displays the NORTHERN LIGHTS foliage, it will work. So scour your inventory stash!)
   
   
2. BLARNEY STONED produces males at a normal rate, so if you get some, you can also breed a pure line of BLARNEY STONED. Remember, after Gen 1, BLARNEY STONED females no long carry the "charm."

3. During the vegetative stage, BLARNEY STONED is a striking, dank green foliage without any graphics (similar to our "standard" varieties). This type of plant is popular with some growers who prefer some "realism." And you can breed the FX out of BLARNEY STONED to get this distinctive "natural" appearance. One way to do this is to use a standard variety (which has no FX); if you choose to use NORTHERN LIGHTS, just don't treat the BLARNEY STONED mother with ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Plant Auxin. 
   
   
4. Similarly, you can cross-breed BLARNEY STONED females to any other LE to work a new FX onto that dark emerald foliage! (The ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Team thinks the "Leapin' O'Leary FX" from the 2020 GOLD POT LE would be really cool.)

   IRISH KNOT BUDZ
   (with Irish Knot FX added)

   IRISH KNOT BUDZ is also a great base for adding FX. (If you got 'em, burn 'em, right?) In fact, when we developed BLARNEY STONED's Irish Knot FX in the ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ genetics lab, we worked hard to make the FX "fit" nicely on top of the IRISH KNOT BUDZ foliage. So don't use all your BLARNEY STONED males making purebreds; try pushing that FX over onto some IRISH KNOT BUDZ, too!
   
   

As you can see the all new "charm" system gives you a lot more opportunities to have PHUN with ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ. With a little imagination & a touch of the Luck O' The Highrish, you can make something truly your own!

Oh, and don't forget, using ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Plant Auxin on your females not only is necessary to get the "charmed" offspring, it gives you a 25% growth boost and more chances to get 2, 3, and yes, even 4-seed yields! Erin go bong! You have a shot at a "Four Leaf Kief!"

Big News! Version 4.19.916 With Major Features!

ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Version 4.19.916 has been pushing through the HUD update server & we've unleashed a new Limited Edition (Shattered Heart) to show you one of the wildest new features we've stumbled across since FX. This is our first major update in a year!

Key features are:

• An small increase in the odds of males. We know that many folks have had trouble getting boys for breeding, so we're loosening the odds up just a little.
  
  
• A chance of 4-seed females when they are treated with Plant Auxin. Untreated females will have the same 1-, 2-, 3-seed odds as always, but if you use Auxin, you'll have a chance at a real game-changer!
  
  

  

  "Let A be the Charmed Seed type,
  Let B be the Charm Daddy type,
  Let D be any other male you want..."

• A new twist to breeding called "Charmed Seeds." From time to time, we'll release seeds that -- if properly bred -- will produce an offspring with a Limited Edition foliage available no other way! When we release a Charmed Seed, we'll tell you what the "Charm Daddy" variety is. Or maybe we won't tell you. Or maybe we'll give you puzzles & riddles! However, you figure it out, if you treat a female from a Charmed Seed with Auxin & then breed her to a "Charm Daddy" male, you'll get an offspring from an entirely new variety.
  
  To breed Charmed Seeds for their original foliage (and happen to have a male from the Charmed Seed type), just lay off the auxin
  
  If you're a glutton for punishment (or love being confused), study the "Charmed Math" chalkboard. "Charmed Seeds" will work their magic only in the first generation. So once you've gotten past that, you're growing & breeding as always.

Our Valentines Day LE, SHATTERED HEART, is a "charmer." If females are treated with Plant Auxin & bred to PURPLE HAZE males, they'll produce LOVE BUDZ offspring. (LOVE BUDZ is probably the wildest plant foliage ever -- you don't want to miss it!). If you don't treat the females with Auxin or use any other type of male, you'll get a hybrid as usual, or if you get a SHATTERED HEART male, you can breed a pure line!

The ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Team is stoked about these new features, especially the "Charm" system & we hope it's a lot of FUN for everyone!

 

Refillable Auxin & Mutagen Combo System

The ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Team is phasing out the old style Auxin & Mutagen dosing system. We're replacing it with a new refillable combo system with a single dispenser that works for both Auxin & Mutagen.

The new Auxin & Mutagen (A&M) Combo dispenser has a "harlequin" appearance when it's "off." When set to function as Mutagen, it turns green (just like the old containers) & it turns yellow when set to Auxin mode.

A&M Combo Kit Refills come in 10-dose cans, available singly or in six packs. Because the Combo dispenser is refillable, you don't have to rez out separate containers for Auxin & Mutagen. And you're able to load as many doses of the boosters as you want.

The A&M Combo dispenser is menu driven. When you need Mutagen, use the menu to select that mode, the Combo jug will change to solid green & you're good to go. When you need Auxin, switch to Auxin mode with the menu & the jug will change to solid yellow. If the dispenser is out of Auxin or Mutagen, that option won't appear in the menu.

And that's when you need to reload. Just click "Refill" in the menu & Ctrl-drag refills from your inventory, just like loading Liquid Plant Food refills. If you don't use Mutagen, just don't load it. The Combo Kit will work with nothing but Auxin (or Mutagen) loaded in it, if that's what you prefer.

The A&M Combo dispenser is backwardly compatible with any leftover old style singe-dose or 10-dose Auxin or Mutagen you already have. As long as they haven't been rezzed out already, they'll work fine as refills. Be cautious: previously rezzed or partially used 10-dose containers will be accepted ... as single dose units.

Sorry, but old style 50-dose jugs are not compatible with the A&M Combo. You have to use those up!

but DJ had one for a while in the 1970s.

ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ Version 4.19.914 is now pushing through the HUD Update Server! The new version has some cool feature, along with a ton of "adjustments" we've made to hopefully reduce the impact of Linden Labs' continual dicking with the SL Server system.

The key features of Version 4.19.914 are:

• BulkGroup -- A new method for assigning plants to HUD groups in bulk using the HUD by itself! For those who've not used HUD groups because they're hard to set up, this is a big step forward!
   
• Yield information is now in the "Compact" hovertext display. This will make the uncluttered Compact banner a lot more useful for a lot more of you. Reduce SL air pollution with the Compact display!
   
• We fixed the indoor/outdoor lighting bonus system so that plants with I/O breeding stats between 1.0 and 1.499999 will still get the bonus.
   
• The transfer penalty for flowering plants has been reduced back to 24 hours. Taking flowering plants in & out of inventory or transferring them to new owners no longer takes 30 hours off the time remaining. This means we're back to the original Version 4.19 transfer penalty and basically gives you an extra transfer before the locusts eat your plant!

As always, we've also made a bunch of memory optimizations and streamlined the scripts to (hopefully) make them work faster and smoother.

Version 4.19.914 started pushing this week. All our Standard seed packs and Starter Kit seeds & new LEs are available in the new version, too!
