Pssst! Hey you! Wanna know a secret trick for making your "decor" ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ™ even cooler?
Any plant with Version 4.19 scripts (or higher) can be set to retain its hovertext ("banner") when you convert it to decor after harvest. It wasn't planned, either -- this is a true "game hack" for you chronics...
To convert a plant to decor, click the DECOR button in the advanced menu. After harvesting a female, you have 30 seconds to do this before the plant goes to the ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ™ graveyard, so work fast!
Click the ADVANCED > BANNER menu to toggle the plant's hovertext off. Then click ADVANCED > DECOR. Result? The hovertext toggles off and then back on when you decor the plant, and the plant will retain its hovertext.
If you want to have decor without the hovertext, just click DECOR right away after harvesting.
And hey, if you prefer COMPACT instead of the full NORMAL stats, just set your plant that way before you toggle the BANNER.
