Basic Pricing Guide For Beginner's by Doc Stoney

How To Price Your Plants
A Basic Guide To Selling Your ḈḁṇṇḁḇḭṦḼ™

Your harvest has grown & you are looking for Lins, but aren't too sure how the pricing begins.
Some go low, others stay HIGH...and you're left in the middle, wondering why?
Truly it's not "rocket science" Man! With a little math you'll have it all planned!

OK, so we have all been here. We finally get our first great harvest and we are ready to offer it to all. How much do we charge? Really, time and the market shall tell. The best way for me has been a simple formula that helps me keep my prices to what I feel is fair for both buyer and seller.
Start with the price of the seeds,
some are 60 l while LE's are a bit more.
So starting with 60 L is a great base.
Now add 10 L per generation for food.

So now we get to part that confuses a lot of people.
As we all know females have a higher tendency to pass foliages in their genetics but never forget that males can as well.

I myself add 50 L per LE foliage in the direct line, meaning back to grand parents for a male . Add 100 L per LE foliage in the females. We also add 50 - 100 L for any traits we breed in specially like extreme growth rates, bright, non bright etc. Keeping in mind while mutations are special we cannot control them. So to some a 0.8 bred in bright will be more valuable than a 1.0 mutation that happened when the seed was harvested. We also want to consider other factors such as, was it a flash LE? Is it a rare or brand new LE? These are all factors that affect pricing.

So let's see some examples:

NORTHERN LIGHTS X WATER MELON
Gender: Male
Generation: 4
Maturity: 65%
Foliage: Northern Lights Bright (1.0)
Potency: High (3.000)
Growth Rate: Extreme (6.622% per cycle)
Lighting: Indoor/Outdoor
Size: Normal
Height: 0.822 meters
Width: 0.794 meters
CannabiSL version 2.11c

Parents Genotypes:
Mom: Northern Lights X Water Melon, 2.999580, 5.246918, 1, 0.867799, 0.816489, 0.922893
Dad: Water Melon X Water Melon, 2.999511, 5.998047, 1, 0.720396, 0.755000, 0.720513

So here we have a male gen 4 hybrid.
to price this man we look to all the factors listed above:

60 (seed price)
40 ( 10 L x 4 generations of feeding)
100 for possible foliage passing (see how both mom and dad have the watermelon LE)

Then add 100 l per extras that you bred in specially (the extreme growth rate).
So this little man I would price at 300 L.

And Here A Pure Female:

STICKY PUNCH X STICKY PUNCH
Gender: Female
Generation: 2
Maturity: 85%
Foliage: Sticky Punch (0.0)
Potency: High (3.000)
Growth Rate: Very Fast (5.000% per cycle)
Lighting: Indoor
Size: Normal
Height: 2.350 meters
Width: 1.900 meters
Yield: 3 seeds (3 left)
CannabiSL version 2.11c

Parents Genotypes:
Mom: Sticky Punch, 3, 4, 0, 1.9, 0.02, 2.35
Dad: Sticky Punch, 3, 4, 0, 1.9, 0.02, 2.35

Base - 100 L per seed (This is a 3 seed plant)
Food -  20 L
Foliage - 100 L
Newest LE - 200 L

So This Girl I Will Price at 620L

In summary:
Base Price ( 60 - 100 L per Seed)
+ 10 L Per generation for feeding
Plus 50 to 100 for foliages that could possibly pass
Plus 100 per special bred in trait
Plus 200 For Brand New Or Flash LE

In Closing;
I want to say that is just a guide as to how I personally price my plants. Hope it helps

  1. Also, PLEASE HELP us protect each others' interests! If you are holding a fire sale or other discount sale at your pharm or store and your pricing is lower than the cost of a new seed (L$75 for standard foliage or L$175 for LE foliage), please do NOT post pricing in your ads to our CannabiSL Advertising & Auctions Group.. Simply say "LOWEST PRICES" or "FIRE SALE." etc
